In this follow-up to their first The And video, filmed almost two years prior, Chella and MaryV return to discuss the complexity and simplicity of love and identity once again. There is a noticeable difference — they've both grown up, and the dynamic of their relationship has evolved with them. I loved seeing the subtle growth in them both as individuals and as a couple. This conversation feels more mellow than the first in a way, but still so beautiful and honest and open. In this video they address how visible and public their relationship is, and how they feel about that, as well as their own insecurities around the expectations or perceptions their audience has of them.
