BRAZEN RECOMMENDS: 5 Lessons I’ve Learned about Racism

5 Lessons I've Learned About Racism

The Black Lives Matter movement woke a lot of people up to the injustice that is being perpetrated against people of colour — and yet, many people of colour still have it better than the black community does. I appreciate this video by Ali Abdaal, a Pakistani-British doctor working in Cambridge, in which he acknowledges and unpacks his own privilege while detailing what he's learned about racism over the years and more recently. It also reminds us that learning and growth are a continuous process, and that there's always room for improvement. No matter how well or badly we handled something in the past, we can always do better moving forward.
