If I haven’t already made this clear at every available opportunity, allow me to state my case once again: this is my favourite. Song. Ever. My dad introduced me to it early in 2020, and it’s been my anthem ever since. As with all Gang of Youths’ music, it’s an ode to living boldly and sincerely, to embracing the pain and the beauty, the mess and the crazy synchronicities of life. I owe a lot, both personally and creatively, to the music of Gang of Youths — indeed, to say BRAZEN is heavily inspired by their message would be a huge understatement. So get yourself some wine, turn the volume up, close your eyes, and enjoy. And thank you, Gang of Youths, for putting words and music to all the feelings that make life worth living.
