BRAZEN RECOMMENDS: Why Some of Us Don’t Have One True Calling

Why some of us don't have one true calling | Emilie Wapnick

I was first introduced to Emilie Wapnick's work and the concept of the multipotentialite when I read her book, How to Be Everything a few years back. As someone who's always had multiple interests and often felt guilty about both not being able to choose and stick to one, and also not devoting enough time to each of my skills and interests, reading that this was not a problem but a strength and a huge asset made such a difference to the way I worked. It's a book I return to every so often to remind myself that indulging my curiosity and my varied interests does bring value to my life and not everyone is cut out to become a specialist in just one thing for the rest of their lives. In fact, this topic is so close to my heart and something I resonate with so deeply that I may just dedicate a whole issue of BRAZEN to it someday. Your thoughts?
